Training
Part of the Enara Group we are very proud of our commitment to training and ongoing support to all workers to ensure a quality service is delivered.
All Beech carers attend our intensive residential three day Induction training programme.
The training course is delivered by our own specialist training team and it takes place at our training centre at Image House. This allows our training and recruitment team to continually assess and monitor potential carers.
The training in accordance with Skills for Care training standards includes:
- Moving people safely
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults
- Dementia
- Mental capacity
- Administration of medication
- Fire safety
- First aid
- Health and Safety
- Infection control
- Food Hygiene
- Enable/Re-ablement
Time is also then spent shadowing an experienced carer in the home environment.
Both the training and shadowing must be completed successfully.
All Beech carers are directly employed. We continually train, update, monitor and manage all of our carers.
All carers are also given the opportunity to undergo further training and specialist to training to increase their knowledge and skills.
