Support at home with hourly care
Perhaps you have had a fall, or need assistance following an operation or an admission to hospital?
Do you work full time and find it difficult to provide the support an elderly parent needs?
Do you live far away from your relative? Would you feel reassured by someone visiting them a few times a week to check they are eating well, living in a clean house and managing day to day tasks?
Beech Nursing and Care provide fully trained and carefully vetted carers to support clients at home with hourly home care. A carer can visit for an hour or for the day. Night carers can also be arranged to provide reassurance and support overnight. Our Carers can support clients to maintain their independence and allow them to continue living at home by taking care of personal care and other household tasks.
Our carers can assist with the following activities:
- Personal care including toileting, bathing, washing and dressing
- Support with medication
- Help to get up in the morning
- Assist with bedtime routine, ensuring everything is locked and all appliances turned off.
- Support and reassurance overnight
- General housework including laundry, ironing, cleaning, hovering and dusting
- Preparing breakfast, cooking lunch and an evening meal
- Companionship – chatting, reading the paper and listening.
- Driving, shopping and collecting prescriptions from the chemist
- Caring for much loved pets
- Support with general administrative tasks, writing letters and making phone calls
